This set performs wonderfully, as I expected. The edge on these blades is very fine and extremely durable. The weight of the knives allows for hours of comfortable kitchen work of nearly all sorts.
It is sharp and ease to cut and slice. Must be careful not to wiggle when cutting because it is ceramic after all!
The handle fits my grip perfectly.
Both sizes are really handy for any task.
Works great for cutting vegetables. The two sizes are just right for the various types of produce we encounter. We use them almost daily and, so far, no chips and no staining. We're careful to keep them out of the sink to fend of chips from other stuff. We're genuinely happy to have them as an addition to the cutting block. And the red handles make it easy to differentiate them from the other steel knives.
We absolutely love these knives! My wife has tendinitis in her forearm and wrist and cutting vegetables with metal knives (we bought some very high-end ones) everyday aggravates the pain. It is so very easy to cut anything with these knives. My wife says these knives put hardly any stress on her wrist or forearm. We are very happy with them. One word of caution - they are ridiculously sharp (sharper than any other knives we have ever used) - so, be very careful!
Both knives are lightweight and work really well. I have a vascular problem in my right hand, so these are a great help in preparing vegetables, fruits and meats
